Beard

Pilot Officer Ted Beard Memorial Trophy 

The Ted Beard Award shall be presented annually to the Member who shows greatest progress in his or her first year at the TUXIS Parliament of Alberta.  Dr. Frank Johnson, a Lethbridge physician and Member of the 13th Session presented the original Trophy in 1963.  The recipient is selected by the Speaker of the House, in consultation with the Four Elected Leaders, and the trophy is awarded at the Alumni Banquet.
